Elliot

I've never been one that really got into Infant Photography too much. The photos are cute and all but normally not my thing. But When Lissa, Elliot's mom & and a good friend, ask if I would do some photos for her of Elliot I said sure. Elliot is totally cute and is amazingly unfussy for a baby. So I figure it'll be fun and a learning experience which is always good!

From the minute I start taking photos of Elliot he lit up like a seasoned model! It was amazing! He would look towards the light and smile the cutest smile. He didn't really fuss that much, Which was surprising since he had been sick with an ear infection. Every time I looked at the lcd on the back of my camera I was in awe of how great he photographed! It was really hard to edit the film down to less then 100 photos!

Elliot was a complete pleasure to photograph! I only hope that the pictures even come close to showing how cute he is in person!

The Old House

I used to drive by this house on a daily basis and always thought it would make a cool photo. So about a week ago I decide to finally shoot it. It was about an hour before sundown And the sun was perfect. The whole front of the house was illuminated in this awesome golden light! The only tough part was not getting hit by cars zooming down the road in front of the house. I was set up right on the edge of the road looking up the hill the house is on. But after getting home and seeing the outcome I do have to say it was totally worth it!

The Beginning

I decided to start this blog to show some of my pictures and tell the stories behind them and talk about my journey as a photographer.

I've been into photography pretty much my whole life. I always enjoyed taking pictures and dragging the little Kodak camera my parents got me for my birthday one year around with me. But i never really got serious about it. But then about 4 years ago I had a heart attack and quadruple bypass sugary at the age of 32! I remember laying in the hospital thinking about how short life is and how I needed to be pursuing the life i wanted to live. So I picked up photography again and got serious about making it my career.

So I invite you to join me on my journey down the road to my future!
